John began his property and casualty insurance journey with Federated Insurance. During his tenure at Federated, John earned several distinctions within the company – Senior Marketing Representative, Surety Marketing Specialist, Large Account Representative, along with Senior District Marketing Manager. His love for the industry and the positive opportunities going forward lead him to Bovard Insurance Group. He enjoys consulting privately held businesses and affluent families nationwide reviewing and customizing insurance needs and plans.
John is a frequent guest lecturer at several colleges, universities, and associations on not only insurance topics but also overall recruitment and career direction. Coaching is in his DNA and not only football and basketball, but also overall career direction of young people is a passion.
He and his wife reside in the Kansas City area. They enjoy boating, travel, sports, dogs and have had the true accomplishment of raising their four children.
